The event was  to raise the awareness of the use of  SAC  requirement as  a stand alone order or part of an order.   This  could be an order set  for 12- 36 hours, and  involves  fortnightly 3 hour compulsory attendance  on a Saturday at the centre. During each session  there is a programme  involving vocational training and developmental work, aimed at  trying to break the cycle of re-offending. The opportunity  to learn practical skills eg  tiling, brick laying or carpentry   is possible  in the purpose built YSS Training and Enterprise centre constuction hall. Developmental skills cover topics such as anger management, victim awareness,  substance misuse and healthy  relationships. Hereford and Worcester Fire  and Rescue Service are also supporting this programme with road safety and fire fighting  sessions  held at the fire station.
