This is just one of YSS’s very important projects which enable people to develop new skills and to improve their self-esteem so that they can achieve their potential. Judging from the delicious food that was on offer when the cafe was officially opened, I have no hesitation in recommending that everyone stops for a snack and cup of tea next time they’re in the city centre!”

“I feel very honoured to have been asked to open the Cafe. YSS does wonderful work amongst some of the most vulnerable people in our society and this new initiative is a very exciting one.”

The launch of Carden St. Cafe was hosted by Lady McFarlane, Chair of YSS Trustees and was attended by the High Sheriff of Worcester, Mayor of Worcester, Robin Walker MP for Worcester,  the West Mercia Police and Crime Commissioner and the Heads of West Mercia Youth OffendingDSCF2033 Service and  of Warwickshire and West Mercia Community Resolution Company, together with YSS Trustees, staff, volunteers and service users.
