Following a recent visit  to the YSS Good Stuff Furniture  project , in Worcester, Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner for West Mercia, Barrie Sheldon, said:

“Rehabilitation is one of the key factors in crime prevention, and with that in mind, the Commissioner’s office is very pleased to support this type of initiative – which gives young people the chance to make a real change, both for themselves and their community.”

The Good Stuff Furniture project  has been in operation for just over a year now, as a Women’s only  project, in partnership with Warwickshire and West  Mercia Community Rehabilitation  Company. The workshop has been running one day per week, but the plans for the future  are for the workshop to be available  for more days and  to be able to offer to a wider  range of clients.
