‘They helped me a lot and Keyworkers are good fun’

Service users  participate in a survey which will help the EnHance early-help service evaluate the effectiveness and outcomes of the service delivery.

Shropshire Providers Consortium (SPC) is contracted by YSS to deliver Independant Service User Feedback for the EnHance Early-Help Service in Shropshire. The survey, which is ongoing, includes responses from service users including: children, young people, parents/carers and referrers with regard to their most recent experience.

  • – Keyworker (KW) made a difference to this young man and was integral to supporting him through a turbulent time which could have resulted in a permanent exclusion. He was a positive role model and huge support.
  • – The Keyworker has been unbelievably helpful. He has, I am sure, gone beyond his job role to support this young man who unfortunately chose to disengage despite the calm and consistent approach   from the KW. The child’s mother continues to access support and I know she was very grateful.

‘If you could wave a magic wand, what would you add or change about the service?’   The following responses have been selected for their suggestions on ways to improve the service:

  • – ‘Bit longer for her but service and Keyworker was brilliant.’
  • – ‘I would have preferred more involvement or one-to-ones with my child. It was good for me though, and dad’.
  • – ‘The service is fantastic but follow-ups would be good. The KW’s fantastic and we could not have asked for more!’
