Job Title: Volunteer Co-ordinator

Salary: £20,013.70 per annum (pro-rata)

Hours: 18.5 per week

Base: Action for Children, Saffron Centre, Stanley Road, Worcester, WR5  1BD

YSS has a long track record of recruiting, training and supporting local volunteers.  Action for Children have commissioned YSS to oversee the volunteering element of the South Worcestershire Parenting and Family Support Service.

South Worcestershire Parenting and Family Support is an innovative service providing help to young people aged 0-19 and their families.  The provision offers advice and guidance and aims to help families by providing local activities and educational parenting courses.  Volunteers currently deliver 10 groups across 6 designated centres.

Job Title:  ARC Project Co-ordinator

Grade/Salary:  £20,013 per annum (pro-rata)

Contract: 6 month fixed term contract

Hours: 18.5 hours per week

Base:  YSS Telford office

Project Co-ordinator’s manage a case load of young adults as required according to ARC project and contractual specifications and have an ongoing active case load of up to 12-14 young adults (which includes active mentoring cases). This may also include support to family members where appropriate.  They accept referrals; undertake relevant assessments and develop tailor made support plans, programmes and activities across the 7 Reducing Re-offending Pathways, in partnership with referring agencies and other stakeholders.  Ensuring close liaison with the referrers throughout in relation to the sequencing and delivery of support plans.
