The Malvern and Worcester community came together in a spectacular display of generosity and compassion at the CAB South Worcestershire and YSS’ Valentine’s Charity Ball, held on the 16th of February 2024. The night of fun and philanthropy was organised to support two local charities doing work with the most marginalised individuals in our communities. The night was a success, leaving a lasting memory to all attendees.
The Abbey Hotel in Malvern was transformed for the night of elegance as community members, local businesses, and philanthropists gathered for an evening of purpose and celebration. The Valentine’s Charity Ball was evidence of the power of unity and collective goodwill in our communities.
Attendees were treated to a night of fun, complete with live music from the amazing Lisa Voleta band, exquisite cuisine provided by the Abbey Hotel, and a captivating Charity Auction with a lot of amazing items. The Charity Auction featured a lot of treasured items kindly donated by individuals, groups, and businesses across Malvern and Worcester. We are eternally grateful for the generosity of the people of Worcestershire.
What truly set this Charity Ball apart was the genuine commitment to making a difference in the local community. Funds raised during the event will be directed towards supporting Citizens Advice South Worcestershire and YSS, ensuring that those in need receive the support and resources required to overcome obstacles and reach their potential.
The need to come together and support local charities was highlighted in the heartfelt speech of the CEO of Citizens Advice South Worcestershire. Supporting local causes can make a big difference in the level of support provided to people in our local community. The demonstrated impact of charitable organisations like YSS and the CAB is the reason why individuals should come together and support each other.
YSS and the Citizens Advice South Worcestershire express sincere gratitude to all attendees, donors, and volunteers who contributed to the success of this Valentine’s Day Charity Ball. It is through their collective efforts that the event surpassed expectations and became a success.
We are looking forward to continuing to bring our local communities together which will make a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
