YSS is a local charity with over 30 years of experience in working with people in our local communities, enabling them to overcome obstacles, fell safe and look at more hopeful futures. Here at Neoperl we pride ourselves on doing the right things. Our values describe what we stand for, what is important to us, and how we work together.
We needed something to help turn these values into something more specific that provided our employees with a sense of what we are trying to achieve above and beyond conserving and protecting water.
Recent collaborations working with YSS’s Young carers project team has helped us create some of the guiding principles, giving some perspective to our Values. Engaging employees in volunteering activities or fundraising initiatives with YSS has fostered a sense of purpose and teamwork, improving productivity, morale and helping towards promoting Neoperl’s mental health and well-being workplace initiatives.
It’s clear to me that YSS are committed to establishing meaningful and long-lasting relationships and recognise the power of collective efforts in making lasting change. Their team is highly supportive, responsive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure successful outcomes.
One of the main highlights so far, has been getting to know and work alongside some of the Young Carers. We look forward to working with YSS to shine a light towards these individuals, helping provide them with the opportunity to dream like every young adult and child deserves.
